VA Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits Approved

Established in 1998, Guidance Aviation specializes in high altitude helicopter flight training. As the first FAA Approved Part 141 high altitude helicopter flight training facility in the United States with degree and non-degree programs, Guidance is also VA Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits approved.

Why High Altitude?

Guidance's base of operations is 5,100' ft above sea level. Learning to fly at high altitude is much more challenging and learning to do so makes flying at lower altitudes much easier, making you a better pilot. Therefore, learn to fly at Guidance and you can fly anywhere in the world. Just ask our graduates already placed in industry. And, being the first FAA Approved Part 141 high altitude helicopter flight training facility in the United States with numerous safety awards, means we have the experience necessary to make you a competent, safe, professional pilot.

Are You a Military Veteran? So Are The Guidance Personnel Ready to Assist You Through the Paperwork

If you are a U.S. military veteran, our degreed program through Yavapai College will allow you to use your Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits to acquire your degree (AAS) Associate of Applied Science, Professional Pilot-Helicopter degree. This Degree Program will allow you to earn a Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, Flight Instructor Certificate with Helicopter Rating and Instrument Helicopter Rating. Moreover, our Student Services Department is comprised of US Military Veterans who have gone through the cumbersome paperwork necessary to acquire your GI Bill benefits.
