Heli-flight (NZ) Ltd is a privately owned New Zealand company offering a full range of helicopter services throughout the North Island of New Zealand. Under the direction of Andy McKay, Heli-flight has experienced steady growth since its early beginnings in Masterton in 1981. Starting out as a solo owner operator, Heli-flight now boasts a fleet of more than 10 helicopters and employs more than 15 staff.

Internationally recognised as a first class training organisation, Heli-flight specialises in offering professional yet affordable training with detailed advice for the domestic and international student. From short introductory lessons, hour building, hobby and career licences as well as advanced training, Heli-flight offers a diverse range catering to all levels of flying interests.

Formal Qualification
There is full time programmes available including the Certificate in Aviation (Commercial Pilots Licence) and Certificate in Advanced Aviation (Instructors Rating).  This is for the student that prefers a structured full time course.  Student loans and allowances are available to citizens and residents of New Zealand. 

Advanced Training
To improve your employment prospects you may decide to look at advanced training options. Heli-flight can provide advanced training for a Turbine Rating, Mountain Training, Sling Training, Night Rating and Flight Instructors Rating.
